So I can just join and starting writing ideas?

Yes! All entries are manually checked before being published to prevent unsolicited commercial posts, but almost every entry will be approved within the posting guidelines. Make sure you share your entry with your friends and community so they can vote on and add to it as well, the more people that see it, the more will be inspired.

 

How do I join a house or faction?

First you have to join the site, then write an entry in any genre. If you get voted up, you are automatically entered into that genre's faction. The higher up you go, the higher your rank. Higher ranking members have more powerful votes, adding more points to entries when they vote for them.

 

What happens when I vote?

Both the entry you vote for and the person who wrote it gain points on TAGs. These points go towards increasing rank within houses or factions, and come from votes on both entries and comments on those entries. If an entry has more than one genre, points will only be added for the first genre of that entry.
