Cyberpunk Characters, Characters

Mister Reape is one of the boogeymen that mothers in the wreckbelt use to scare their kids when they catch them poking around the edges of hi-sec datacentres on the network. Don't pen that corporation, they'd say, or Mister Reape will get you! Although most scoff at the idea of a cybernetic vigilante working for the government, the corps, organised crime or himself, depending on who you ask, they still look over their shoulders afterwards.

The only thing anyone really remembers about Mister Reape are his teeth - they're small, perfect and babylike. The rest varies wildly, his height, the clothes he wears, how he smells, the colour of his eyes. Ask three different people who claim to have seen him and you'll get three different descriptions, except for his teeth. Those everyone agrees on.

Still, the rumours like most urban legends just don't seem to go away. First comes the knock - you check your visor, and nobody's there, so you shrug and go back to whatever you shouldn't have been doing. Then there's another knock, and this time you open the door to look around, but there's still nobody there.

So you go back to your term and flick it, but someone's left a message for you on the visor.

"Thank you for your hospitality."

After that it's anyone's guess, some say you get sprayed, others kidnapped, some just get a brownout and join the ludlanders. But in the end one thing is for sure - when Mister Reape comes knocking, don't answer the door.
